Some readers have noticed that the release date for SCORPIO has been moved out to January 1, 2024.
There’s a reason for that change, one that I can’t reveal just yet. But I can tell you that good things are happening behind the scenes that will make the new date make sense once I am allowed to disclose them.
Edited to add: if you are a reviewer, book blogger, YouTuber, editor, book club, or someone who otherwise talks up books and makes recommendations, hit me up at marko dot kloos at gmail dot com. I have a number of ARCs (advance reader copies) left over after Readercon, and I can hook you up with one while my supply lasts.
I would love a frontlines tv show, but I suspect it’s to do with amazon first reads, as books on that tend to be available on first reads on the first of the month e.g. 1st December then release properly on the first of the following month e.g. 1st January.
As someone who probably wouldn’t have discovered Marko’s books without Aftershocks being on first reads, I excited if it turns out SCORPIO is going on it too!
Haha, seems we’re all dreaming the same thing. It would be great to see more of Grayson!
The sci-fi channel was alright. They brought us BSG and Stargate. I’m sure they could do it again.
They’re turning the book series into a show on sci-fi?
I hope so! We can only dream!
Please not the SyFy channel – Netflix (they did good work with Lucky 13) or Amazon Prime
