I think up cocktail recipe. You mix. You drink. Is good.

The Ginny Weasley

In a highball glass:

  • 2 oz. gin
  • 1 oz. vodka
  • Splash of grenadine for color
  • Fill up with ginger ale

It’s a nice, refreshing summer drink that packs a bit of a punch. Serve on the rocks or straight up.

  1. Mattio:

I am familiar with the properties of both gin and vodka. Your concoction would leave me requiring supplemental oxygen and/or a ventilator. And a place to lie down for a while. Well done.

  2. Replace the gin with 3 oz. of gin

Replace the vodka with 2 oz. of vodka

Replace the grenadine with a moment of calm

    Rocks are mandatory for Americans

    A GWM–Ginny Weasly Maximus :)?

Customization is one of the joys of any hobby!

  3. Goya ginger beer rocks. Range and striking power. But entirely too…robust for this app. The Grenadine (pomegranate syrup) is there mostly for the color, am I right? There’s a line of Eastern European (Hungarian maybe) fruit syrups that I get at a local ethnick kinda place (it’s where I buy my cous cous, strange spices, and pierogies) that work well with icy cold neat vodka – just a few drops and down the hatch.

  4. You oughta try a Suffering Bastard. My preferred:

    One ounce gin
    Two ounces brandy or bourbon
    One teaspoon lime juice
    One dash bitters

Add cracked ice and fill glass with ginger ale, decorating with a slice of orange.
