Marko Kloos is the author of the Frontlines, Palladium Wars, and Frontlines: Evolution series of military Science Fiction. He is also a contributing member of George R.R. Martin’s Wild Cards consortium, and several of his shorter works have been adapted for the animated series “Love Death + Robots” on Netflix (namely the episodes “Shape-Shifters” and “Lucky 13”.)

Thirty minutes ago, I finished reading Centers of Gravity. Before then I have done very little beyond eating, drinking, and reading since I opened Terms of Enlistment. Your books have made me feel such emotion that I have not felt in so long.
It’s been years since I’ve read anything that moved me quite as much. I now dread opening another book because I know almost anything else will be drab and dreary in comparison.
This may all sound ridiculous but I simply did not expect what I initially assumed to be a by-the-numbers military sci-fi series to affect me in this way. This makes me want to write something myself, which I have never before considered. I bet it’ll be rubbish though.
I have relished following Andrew across his adventures. Even when I correctly predicted what was about to occur, you kept me on the edge or threw in a twist. Halley might be my favourite character in fiction. I feel like I can close my eyes and become these people.
To anyone reading this and rolling their eyes, I get it, but please give these books a try and I hope you feel something like I do right now. It’s barely been a week but I feel like I’ve lived a lifetime in a simultaneously horrifying yet wonderful universe.

I binged Palladium Wars & Frontline series last year whilst travelling so I’m very excited to see that #5 of PW is on its way! Also thought worth commenting that I rewatched love death and robots recently and was pleasantly surprised when checking the credits!

1.) I shared a quote that said nobody can be intelligent, decent, and a Nazi. You need to take a long, hard look into your soul and ask yourself why you felt I was talking about you. Then ask yourself what it is about your life that makes you want to post “go back to where you came from” comments on strangers’ blogs at half past one in the morning.

Hi there from Wallis. I discovered the Palladian Wars series as a kindle recommendation after finishing one of Christopher Nuttall’s books. So downloaded all four, and life stopped while I read them. Just finished the Frontlines series. I just wanted to say thank you for writing it. I really enjoyed it. As a retired AC-130U pilot, it really resonated with me on many levels.
