All right, folks! The Centers of Gravity giveaway is now officially closed. With 298 eligible comments by the deadline, you all had roughly a 1-in-30 chance to win one of the signed copies.

Centers of Gravity signed paperback giveaway

Here they are: ten fresh copies of Centers of Gravity, ready to be signed and mailed to their new owners. And the best part is that YOU, YES YOU, could be one of those new owners!

The rules are as before: leave a comment on this blog entry to throw your hat into the ring. I will leave the comments open until next Sunday, August 28, 12:00 noon. My magic random numbers generator will then spit out ten winning numbers. I’ll count the comments, and if your entry matches one of the numbers, you win one of these paperbacks. I’ll announce the winners on Sunday afternoon with further instructions for claiming your copy.

As always, I’ll spring for the shipping, and the contest is free to anyone in the world as long as your address can be found by your country’s postal service. (Sorry, not paying for helicopter delivery to your off-the-grid mountaintop retreat on the South Island of New Zealand or something.)

CITADEL signed paperback giveaway

UPS dropped off my author copies for CITADEL the other day. You know what that means–it’s time for my customary pre-release giveaway.

Rules are as before: leave a comment on this thread stating that you would like a signed copy to enter the giveaway. One entry per person, please. I’ll leave the comments open until noon on Saturday, July 10th, at which point I will let the random number wizard pick ten entries out of the pile. I’ll announce the winners Saturday afternoon.

This giveaway is open to anyone in the world, and I’ll ship your book to you for free if you win one, regardless of location.

CITADEL is the third book in the Palladium Wars series. This is the one I wrote during the pandemic, so it wasn’t an easy book to write, but I am super happy with the way it turned out, and I think it’s the best in the series yet. But feel free to grab a copy and make up your own mind! If you don’t win a giveaway copy, you can pre-order the book  in all the usual formats right here. The official release day is August 10, so you giveaway winners will get to read it a bit early.

Orders of Battle signed paperback giveaway

I received my author copies for ORDERS OF BATTLE yesterday, so it’s time to do what I usually do when I get a box of books: I give some of them away. It’s a cunning ploy to make me look nice and generous, when in reality I am just trying to keep my floors from collapsing. (Seriously, Orders of Battle is my 9th published book, and between the author copies, ARCs, and copies of foreign translations, that’s a lot of hardcovers and paperbacks to stash.)

The rules are the same as always: leave a comment on this post indicating that you want a signed paperback. I will keep this post open until next Friday, November 27th, and close the comments at 10:00am, then pick ten winners with a random number generator based on the order of entries.

As before, this contest is open to anyone in the world, and I will pay for the shipping to wherever you are if you win a copy. That’s to make up for Goodreads limiting their giveaway to US residents only.

Goodreads giveaway for Orders of Battle

There’s a Goodreads giveaway going on for 100 Kindle copies of Orders of Battle, the seventh novel in the Frontlines series. The giveaway will end on December 7, and the book will be released December 8, so you have 21 days if you want to put your name into the goblet and see if you get lucky. Right now there are ~400 entries for those 100 books, so your current chance is 1 in 4-ish, which isn’t bad.

Work status: I am still holed up at the Castle and finishing CITADEL, book 3 in the Palladium Wars. I’ll be turning it in this week–finally–and then it’s on to the next Frontlines book (which doesn’t have a title yet,) and some more Frontlines stories and novellas. As always, stay tuned for more as I try to find my pre-pandemic productivity mojo again and boost it to Brandon Sanderson-esque levels…
